Empire Life Insurance Reviews
Empire Life Insurance has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 by Insurance Go.
Empire Life Insurance was founded in 1923 by Milton Palmer, and for almost 100 years, has managed the wealth of countless Canadians across the country. They offer many different services from insurance, investments and all the way to mutual funds and portfolio funds. In this review, we will concentrate on their insurance plans and whether or not they are worth their cost.
If you're serious about finding the perfect insurer, you should read through several reviews before you decide on the perfect insurance company. Other related reviews include FederatedInsurance Reviews, World Nomads Insurance Reviews and World Escapade Insurance Reviews.
According to their website, they are an independently-owned company in Canada with a mission to protect the financial security of families and individuals. But do their products really reflect their values?
As the name of the company suggests, Empire Life only offers Life and Health related Insurance, however there are two types that you can choose from. Let us have a look of both of them now.
- Life Insurance – Within their Life Insurance package, you will be able to find four products that you can take out a policy on. They are Term, Whole Life, Universal Life and Participating Life Insurance. Term Insurance allows you to be provided a set amount of protection for as long as you want. If you want your entire life to be insured, then the Whole Life Insurance would be your choice. For things beyond your life, such as savings and investments, I would recommend you to take out Universal Life Insurance. Participating Life Insurance will provide you with guaranteed cash and insurance protection.
- Critical Illness Insurance – Unlike Life Insurance, this insurance plan enable you to protect your finances if you somehow attracted a serious illness and survived it. Such illnesses can include cancer and heart attack. The main advantage of this plan is that you will be given a lump sum of cash that is tax free so that you can continue to treat your illness.
After doing a bit of research online to see what current customers are saying about Empire Life, I can confidently say that this company can really live up to its name.
